Description

The authorized level of the positions is for Clinical Psychologist VI. Applications are being accepted down to Clinical Psychologist V in the event of recruiting difficulties.

Salary Range: All new external applicants will be placed on the initial step of the salary range. However, placement above the initial step of the salary range will be based on special characteristics and critical needs of the position, an applicant's exceptional qualifications, the availability of funds, and other relevant factors. The salary is based on full-time employment and includes shortage and school year differentials, if applicable.

Clinical Psychologist V, SR-24: $6,043.00 - $7,351.00 per month
Clinical Psychologist VI, SR-26: $6,535.00 - $7,952.00 per month

Examples of Duties

1. Perform professional work concerned with the development and application of theories, principles, methods and techniques relating to the development, behavior, capacities, traits, interests and activities of individuals in order to measure, predict, prevent, modify or induce behavior, especially as these activities relate to individuals and/or groups with serious problems of personality, social and emotional adjustment or intellectual disability.

2. Performs professional work in clinical psychology at a level of professional maturity.

3. Provides psycho diagnostic, psycho therapeutic, and consultative services.

4. Performs work in prevention, training, and/or research.

5. Some positions may include supervision over other multidisciplinary professional staff which perform program services in their respective areas of competence.

6. Performs other duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications

General Requirements: Applicants must possess the requirements specified in A, B, C, D or E below:

A. Successful completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree from an accredited college in clinical psychology which included an internship in clinical psychology. In lieu of the internship requirement, applicants may substitute one year of professional work experience in the field of clinical psychology.

B. Successful completion of all requirements for a doctoral degree from an accredited college in a specialty related to clinical psychology. The doctoral program must have included an internship in clinical psychology or must have been supplemented by a post-doctoral clinical internship. In lieu of the clinical internship requirement, applicants may substitute one year of post-doctoral clinical psychology experience under competent profession supervision.

C. Holds a doctoral degree from a training program approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) or holds a doctoral degree from a regionally accredited institution of higher education and also meets the experiential requirements for inclusion in the National Register of Health Service Providers in Psychology, as described in Chapter 465, HRS.

D. Holds a diplomate certificate in good standing granted by the American Board of Examiners in Professional Psychology, as described in Chapter 465, HRS.

E. A valid license to practice psychology in the State of Hawaii, as described in Chapter 465, HRS.

For Level VI, applicants must also possess a minimum of one additional year of professional clinical psychology experience which involved psycho diagnostic and psychotherapeutic services to individuals with severe problems of personality, social, emotional adjustment, or intellectual disability. The year of the additional experience requirement must have been comparable to Level V in the State service.

Quality of Experience: Possession of the required number of years of experience will not in itself be accepted as proof of qualification for a position. The applicant's overall experience must have been of such scope and level of responsibility as to conclusively demonstrate that the applicant can perform the duties of the position for which the applicant is being considered.

Licensed Required: Within two years from the date of appointment as a Clinical Psychologist V or higher, applicants hired must meet the requirements for licensing and obtain a license issued by the Hawaii State Board of Psychology, as required by Chapter 465, HRS.

Driver's License Requirement: Some positions require applicants to possess a current, valid Driver's License.

Supplemental Information

Requirements: Applicants must meet all the requirements for the position they are seeking as of the date of the application, unless otherwise specified. Unless specifically indicated, the required education and experience may not be gained concurrently. Calculation of experience is based on full-time, 40-hour workweeks. Part-time experience is pro-rated. Example: Twelve months of experience at 20 hours/week is equivalent to six months of experience, not one year. Also, hours worked more than 40 hours/week will not be credited. Example: Twelve months of experience at 60 hours/week is equivalent to one year of experience, not one and a half years.

Home Base, a Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital program, is dedicated to healing the invisible wounds – including post-traumatic stress, traumatic brain injury, anxiety, depression, co-occurring substance use disorders, family relationship challenges and other issues associated with Military service – for Veterans of all eras, Service Members, Military Families and Families of the Fallen through world-class clinical care, wellness, education, and research.

Massachusetts General Hospital seeks a dynamic and experienced Licensed Psychologist (PhD, PsyD) to serve as team lead for the Psychedelic Assisted Therapy (PAT) service line at Home Base in Charlestown, MA. This position will serve three primary functions:

(1) Take the lead role in developing a strategic plan for delivering PAT to our military patient population, as well as the effective execution of that plan. Due to the innovative nature of PAT within traditional medicine and the relationship-based nature of the military population, the PAT lead should have and expect to use strong interpersonal skills to work with our Massachusetts General Hospital partners and military referral base.

(2) Oversight and management of all PAT referrals, screening, delivery of care, and follow up. The PAT lead will collaborate with Home Base staff to develop and oversee a PAT coordination of care continuum tracking system, and outcome data reporting process for executive leadership.

(3) This role is primarily clinical in nature with administrative responsibilities to accomplish functions (1) and (2). Exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively and complete tasks is a priority for this role. This is open to junior, mid-career, and senior clinicians.

Working under the supervision of the Sr Director of Clinical Services, the Team Lead is an integral part of an invested multidisciplinary team responsible for caring for veterans and military-connected family members at the Home Base Outpatient Clinic (OPC). Reporting directly to the Senior Director of Clinical Services, the Psychedelic Assisted Therapy Team Lead:

Works closely with the Sr Directors of Medical and Clinical Services and collaborates regularly with the directors of our other clinical services to ensure ethical practice and effective service delivery
Works collaboratively with clinical leadership/program directors on strategic plans.
Collaborates with Home Base staff to develop and oversee a PAT coordination of care continuum tracking system, and outcome data reporting process for executive leadership
Participates in relevant clinical meetings, training and other relevant clinical responsibilities as assigned.
Evaluates patients’ mental health diagnoses. The PAT Lead will also create and implement appropriate treatment plan with accompanying documentation in a timely fashion.

We offer multiple clinical services including a 2-week Intensive Clinical Program for PTSD and TBI, an Intensive Outpatient Program for veterans with co-occurring substance use disorders, an outpatient mental health clinic for local and regional patients, a cognitive and brain health program, a comprehensive evaluation program for Special Operators, and family programming.

Ideal candidates will have experience administering cognitive behavioral therapies (CBT) for PTSD including Prolonged Exposure (PE) and/or Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Additional experience in any of the following specialty areas is preferred but not required: (1) massed CBT approaches for the treatment of PTSD; (2) training in the Unified Protocol; (3) substance use disorders; (4) veteran or military family populations. The candidate must be licensed or license eligible in Massachusetts, and the position is open to junior, mid-career, and senior clinicians.

Job Description

Clinical Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT, LGPC, LCADC, LGADC, LMSW or LPC) provides professional trauma-informed counseling services to individuals, families, or groups receiving services within the Refugee and Immigrant Services (RIS) Department at Lutheran Social Services of the National Capital Area in Northern, Virginia. The RIS Department provides resettlement and employment services to refugees, asylees, and other forced migrants. The ideal candidate will have extensive culturally appropriate counseling experience working with asylum-seekers, refugees, immigrants, victims of human trafficking, and/or victims of domestic violence. Essential Functions

Conduct intakes, psychosocial assessments, and trauma inventory; determine acuity, strengths, and therapy needs.
Coordinate and provide care that is safe, timely, effective, efficient, equitable, and client centered.
Develop family-centered and culturally appropriate and responsive treatment plans and provide outpatient services including individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling, and training using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices.

Job Description:

As the Foster Care Services Lead Clinician for Virginia Foster Care, you will be responsible for supporting and ensuring the comprehensive service delivery of clinical services in a foster care program. The Lead Clinician will offer consultation and trauma-informed expertise to program staff and stakeholders to promote stable foster placements and provide clinical feedback. Additionally, the Lead Clinician will conduct trainings during the onboarding process for new staff and continually, as needed. This role includes direct supervision of clinicians.

This position is expected to function effectively with minimal supervision while following the guidelines given on procedures, along with agency, state, and federal regulatory requirements.

Essential Functions :

Support and supervise clinicians with service delivery, documentation and client related issues;
Provide direct therapeutic services to clients and community as needed including group work and family therapy;
Facilitate comprehensive clinical related training to new program staff and interns;
Ensure ORR and the program’s internal documentation practices and reporting requirements are met in following with contract and licensing standards;
Participate in staff meetings with stakeholders and offer clinical feedback regarding client treatment needs;
Develop and maintain positive relationships with funding sources, licensing sources, families and collaterals;
Attend, facilitate, and assist with providing on-going education and support services to foster parents;
Participate in data collection and review to evaluate individual and program success – set goals for improvement based on overall strategies and objectives;
Provide crisis intervention and guidance to staff regarding clinical components of crisis intervention and long-term treatment strategies;

Qualifications

Education and Experience

Master’s degree in Social Work and 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience OR;
Master’s degree or Ph.D. in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science in which clinical experience is a program requirement, and 2 years of postgraduate direct service delivery experience;
Licensure to provide clinical services or eligible to obtain professional licensure or registration, if applicable;
Supervisory experience in direct service delivery with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and responsibilities;
Prior experience working with refugee and/or immigrant populations, preferred;
Bi-lingual English and Spanish, required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including interpersonal communication, group leadership skills, public speaking and clinical and persuasive writing skills;
Ability to work under stress or in a fast-paced environment, including crisis situations;
Strong organizational skills with knowledge of financial, human resource and marketing requirements;

Job Description

The Clinical Social Worker Supervisor (LCSW – DC, MD, & VA) provides individual and group supervision to LSSNCA’s Wellness Services Clinical staff. Essential Functions

Conduct individual and group supervision with Clinical Therapist staff ~ weekly or bi-weekly.
Conduct regular clinical chart reviews for clients served by the Wellness Services Programs.
Support clinical training and skill building with all Clinical Therapist staff within the CARE for Newcomers Program
Provide assistance with clinical interventions and facilitate case conferences when necessary.
Provide feedback to staff and supervisors regarding clinical performance.
Work as an integral part of the agency in strengthening clinical competencies.
Lead or participate on committees tasked with developing and carrying out organizational strategic initiatives.
Promote collaboration between clinical, administrative, and evaluation staff.
Promote communication between program clinical staff and CARE National staff to provide linkages to medical, psychiatric, and other service providers.
Ensure quality of program services per program policies and funding requirements.
Maintain supervision and evaluation records and prepare reports.
Collaborate in providing supervision for Social Work Interns.
Conduct limited number of intakes, psychosocial assessments, and trauma inventories; determines acuity, strengths, and therapy needs for a minimum number of clients per week.
Develop family-centered and culturally appropriate and responsive treatment plants to provide outpatient services including individual counseling, family counseling, group counseling and training using evidence-based and trauma-informed practices, to a minimum number of clients per week.

The School of Professional Psychology (SOPP) at Spalding University seeks to hire a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to serve both as an Assistant Professor within our APA Accredited PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology and as the Assistant Director in our Center for Behavioral Health, the department training clinic. Outstanding postdoctoral candidates will be considered. Ability to teach foundational clinical courses (e.g. Intervention, Ethics, Psychopathology) required. We seek candidates who are passionate about graduate student training, teaching, and supervising, while also contributing to the collaborative nature of our faculty. Successful candidates will be expected to achieve a strong balance across the three domains of teaching, scholarship, and service in the department as well as in the Center for Behavioral Health (https://behavioralhealth.spalding.edu/). Perform mental behavioral health evaluations and provide therapy. Perform individual and group therapy, behavior modification paradigms, biofeedback procedures, and hypnosis in treating psychological disorders, and in assisting individuals to achieve more effective personal and interpersonal adjustment.

Apply psychological interventions in multiple medical clinics and settings to include Pain Clinic, Mental health clinic, and the Wounded Warrior Battalion.
