The Department of Psychology at La Salle University is seeking an Assistant Professor and Director of their APA-accredited Psy.D. Program in Clinical Psychology. The position is a full-time faculty appointment with a secondary administrative appointment and a stipend for leading the Psy.D. program in the summer months. The position is expected to start in August 2021 and is a three year appointment with possibility of renewal.
We welcome candidates whose experience in research, teaching, and service has prepared them to contribute to our program's commitment to building a culturally diverse intellectual community.
Essential Duties:
- The Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Psy.D. Program.
- The position includes teaching four courses per year.
Required Qualifications:
- The candidate must possess a Psy.D. or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- The successful candidate must have exceptional organizational and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in multicultural competence and training is strongly preferred.
- Licensed or license-eligible in PA
