Clinical Psychology and Clinical Psychopharmacology

Call for Proposals Due: April 30, 2026

Summit Dates: October 15 & 16, Thursday and Friday

The Board of Directors of the American Academy of Clinical Psychology (AACP) will host our virtual AACP Clinical Psychology and Psychopharmacology Leadership Summit 2026 on October 15 & 16 from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm EST.

This virtual conference aims to feature an array of topics of interest to clinical psychologists and practitioners focusing on clinical psychology and clinical psychopharmacology. Therefore, this year the AACP Leadership Summit will consist of two concurrent presentations each hour with 2 Tracks: Clinical Psychology (Track I) & Clinical Psychopharmacology (Track 2). Programs are 1-hour in length for CE credit.

We are looking for a few, creative programs to showcase that provide participants with innovative knowledge and skills to increase practice efficiency, productivity, and viability. These one-hour sessions will be allow participants to engage via Zoom in unique ways. To this end, we are seeking quality proposals, which highlight the following clinical practice specialties:

  • 1.     ADHD Diagnosis Treatment
  • 2.     Neuromodulation Therapies (ECT, VNS, DBS, TMS)
  • 3.     Sleep Medicine
  • 4.     Anxiety Disorders
  • 5.     Schizophrenia
  • 6.     Eating Disorders
  • 7.     Child & Adolescent Psychology, Neuropsychology and/or Psychopharmacology
  • 8.     Psychiatric Emergencies
  • 9.     Men’s Health
  • 10.  Women’s Health
  • 11.  Pregnancy + Lactation + Perinatal Mental Health
  • 12.  Treatment in Late Life
  • 13.  OCD
  • 14.  Major Depression
  • 15.  Bipolar Disorder - Depression, Mania, Mixed States, Maintenance
  • 16.  Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics
  • 17.  Trauma-Related Disorders
  • 18.  RxP Legislative Updates
  • 19.  Telehealth Practices
  • 20.  Financial Practice Management: Know your Key Indicators of Practice Health
  • 21.  Contracting with Insurance Companies and Agencies
  • 22.  Practice Billing and Reimbursements

Submission details and deadlines:

Please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • A CV, short bio, and contact information for each presenter (panel presentations will receive priority consideration).
  • A two paragraph description of the program (maximum 500 words)
  • Three program course learning objectives

• Proposal Submission Deadline: April 30, 2026, 11:59 pm EDT

• Proposal reviews to be completed by May 15, 2026

• The lead presenter will be notified of acceptance and presentation date and time by no later than June 1, 2026.

Accepted programs will be expected to submit additional information by June 30, 2026. This information includes: 5 post-event multiple choice questions, plan for event engagement (such as poll questions, Q & A, etc.), and 3 peer-reviewed reference sources from within the last 10 years (in APA format). All presenters receive complementary access to all conference sessions.

Cost

The cost of attendance to the virtual conference is:

              Members (Fellows, Professional Members, and Students) = Free

              Non-Members = $150.00
